Synecdoche
(si-NEC-da-ke)
Synecdoche is Utah Public Radio's exciting new literary arts program. Now in its fifth season, Synecdoche is produced four times a year and features dramatic readings of works by authors with ties to the regional west.
Synecdoche is a collaborative project among three units in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Utah State Universtiy: the departments of English and Theatre Arts, and Utah Public Radio.
Synecdoche also receives support from
Ken Sanders Rare Books in Salt Lake City, Utah (268 South 200 East, 801.521.3819), the
Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, and Crumb Brothers Artisan Breads.
Synecdoche is produced by Marina Hall, with technical assistance by Lee Austin. Cory Castillo is our in-house director for the 2004-2005 season.
