Utah State University professor of English Jeannie Banks Thomas has recently been named Interim Associate Dean of the Arts. Her major assignment as Associate Dean will be to provide leadership to the collective arts-related activities and curricula in HASS by working with the various units of the college, as well as engaging in collaborations with other Utah State University units, and with local, regional, and national venues. In addition, she will serve on the Dean's Executive Team, as well as work with the Development Officers of the College and university. Jeannie will retain a 25% appointment in her home English Department. Her new office will be in the HASS Dean's suite.

 

HASS Dean Yolanda Flores Neimann says, “I am very excited about having Jeannie serve on the Dean's administrative team. She is a well respected and liked member of our HASS community, and she brings much enthusiasm, creativity, and energy to this 2-year appointment, and she has the enthusiastic support of the members of the Caine School of the Arts.”
